Bootherum Dreaming stories given to me since I was a child. I remember all the Dreaming stories. The command thread was always a big fight involved with the peoples. I’ve noticed the old Bootherum Dreaming stories have disappeared over my lifetime. In my mother’s creation story centres around The Tree of Life. The Moreton Bay Fig Tree is my mother’s tribe sacred. They grow into massive big trees. A fight broke out the Tree of Life was taken up to the sky by Thunghutti word for God pronounced – WOO-PA-RA-Yo-wah. I also read the story about Oobi Oobi Castle. All the Dreaming creation stories of Dreamtime now taught in all schools. The kids are pure. The transgenerational trauma of massacres and removal from a family bred out. Three generations from my Grandparents to me, then three generations later to now. A revolution. I will never forget the old stories. They speak the truth.
